The Brief
A self-initiated project with one goal - build a showreel piece that demonstrates a full range of post-production skills in a single edit. The constraint was keeping it under 90 seconds while covering 3 completely different geographic moods without it feeling rushed or like a highlight reel dump.
The Approach
Each country was given its own distinct color grade - warm orange-gold for Japan, high contrast desaturated sand for Morocco, and a muted cool teal for Portugal. The pacing was structured in three acts, each with a different cut rhythm, so the edit breathes differently in each location rather than maintaining a single tempo throughout. Sound design layered real field recordings captured on location under a composed lo-fi score to keep it grounded rather than cinematic in an artificial way.

The Outcome
Published as the primary showreel piece across Vimeo and LinkedIn. Generated 3 inbound freelance video inquiries within the first month and has since been used as the opening piece at two local creative events.
